Reach Your Audience

When you advertise with the Contingency Analysis family of websites, you are reaching a select audience—senior and mid-level professionals working in the capital, energy and commodity markets. We offer two different programs for advertising on our sites. Read about both and see which is best for you:

Google AdWords Program

Our sites are part of the Google AdWords network, which includes thousands of other websites.

You can easily establish an AdWords account with Google. It takes just a few minutes on their website. This will place your ads on numerous sites in their network—including ours.

The big advantage of the Google AdWords program is volume. Your ad can appear on hundreds, if not thousands, of investment-related websites, generating numerous clicks each day.

Google AdWords has the disadvantage of not distinguishing professional from retail investment sites. There aren't that many quality sites catering to a professional finance audience, and you should expect some of your clicks to come from retail investment sites.

Google's AdWords program can also be expensive, with ads often costing several dollars a click.

In summary, this program is appropriate if you need a high volume of clicks and don't mind paying a lot per click. It is also appropriate if your product or service is for retail investors (or both retail investors and finance professionals).

Target Professionals Program

The Target Professionals program is similar to AdWords. You can conveniently establish an account on-line and soon have your ads appearing on multiple sites. The difference is that your ads appear on a small group of quality sites targeting professionals—traders, risk managers, corporate treasurers, portfolio managers, IT professionals, auditors and regulators working in the capital, energy and commodity markets.

Currently, there are seven sites in the program, and that list is growing:

contingencyanalysis.com
glynholton.com
riskarchive.com
riskbook.com
riskchat.com
riskglossary.com
value-at-risk.net

The big advantages of the program is its targeting of a professional audience and low cost. At a fixed price of just $0.75 a click, this is inexpensive advertising.

The disadvantage is that a professional focus limits the volume of clicks. You can expect between 10 and 100 clicks a day.
